The Little Academy of Witches & Wizards…

Following on from last year’s hiatus, and the sell out of the Trick or Treat Trail back in 2024, a Halloween spooktacular is returning to Mac’s Farm with something new for 2026, all taking place in the cosiness of the Nest Box.

You have been summoned….

Step into a world of magic and mystery at The Little Academy of Witches & Wizards at The Mac’s Farm, where young apprentices will discover whether they have what it takes to become a fully qualified witch or wizard!

Under the watchful eye of our wonderfully eccentric magical professors, apprentices will embark on an enchanting journey through three spellbinding lessons, each filled with magic, mischief and plenty of surprises!

The Ancient Art Of Wand Making – Master magical incantations, learn the secrets of spell casting and put your newfound powers to the test!

Herbology Class – Discover the mysterious world of magical plants and uncover the secrets hidden within nature. Plant your very own plant companion to take home with you.

Mysterious Potions – Mix, stir and experiment as you learn the curious art of potion making.

But beware… magic is not always as simple as it seems!

Will you have the skill, courage and imagination to complete your lessons and earn your place as a fully qualified witch or wizard?

Your wand is waiting. Your lessons await. Your magical adventure begins at The Mac’s Farm…

Class is officially in session! 🪄

Your Visit

Your ticket time is the start time of your session, we recommend you arriving 10-15 minutes prior to allow time to park and walk down to the Nest Box, we cannot guarantee spots on later slots due to limited availability.

Sessions will be available for the activities in 30 minute slots throughout the day, with each session lasting approximately 45 minutes.

The Nest Box Bar and Mac Shack will be open from 10am–4pm. If you’re joining us for one of the later session time slots and plan to enjoy food or drinks, please factor this into your arrival time, as these will not be available after the activities.

Tickets and Prices

Price: Adult (16+ years) £5, Child £10

Child tickets include three lessons and they’ll be able to take home their newly crafted wands and a seedling to grow. Recommended age range 3-12 years.

Adult tickets are to accompany children during the visit. Please be aware that due to space inside the workshop rooms, only one adult will be permitted to accompany one child through the sessions. Any other attending adults will be welcome to wait in the ‘Muggles Rest’.

Babies in arms go free, as they won’t be taking part in the lessons.

SEN-friendly session – Tuesday 27th October at 10am

We’re offering a dedicated SEN-friendly session at 10am on Tuesday 27th October, with a few adaptations to help create a calmer and more comfortable experience for children who may benefit from a quieter, less stimulating environment.

The session will begin at 10am and finish at approximately 10.45am. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes beforehand to allow time to park and walk down to the Nest Box.

Adaptations for this session include:

  • Smaller groups: A maximum of 10 children and 10 accompanying adults.

  • Sound effects switched off: Sound effects will be turned off throughout the experience.

  • Lighting effects switched off: Special lighting effects will not be used.

  • Quieter character interactions: Our interactive characters will use softer voices and a calmer tone.

  • More flexible interactions: Characters will take a more flexible approach, allowing children to engage in a way that feels comfortable for them.

  • Quieter surroundings: As the first session of the day, this slot should offer a calmer environment, with fewer visitors around the farm.

Please note that, due to these adaptations, the experience may be slightly different from our usual Halloween sessions.

The same ticket prices and accompanying adult arrangements apply to this session. Only one adult per child can accompany children through the workshop rooms, with any additional adults welcome to wait in ‘Muggles Rest’.

We want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible and to enjoy the experience in a way that works for them.
