Looking for something truly special to do during the summer holidays? Step away from screens and schedules and spend meaningful time together in the great outdoors with our 3 night Wilderness Warrior Camp, combining family camping with an fun forest school session for the kids.
A pitch during Wilderness Warrior Camp includes:
- 3 Night Camping Stay
- 2 Hour Forest School Session
- Nerf Battles
- Other Nature Activities
- Campfire Session with Live Music
- Organic chicken feed to feed our girls
- 1/2 dozen eggs to be collected from our working chicken shed

THE FUN STUFF
The Camp
FOREST SCHOOL ADVENTURE
Send the little ones off for a 2 hour Forest School session, led by our experienced instructors. They will learn hands on, outdoor skills such as shelter building, water filtration and fire lighting - finishing with a tasty snack cooked over the fire.
CAMPFIRE SESSION
As the sun sets, gather together around the campfire and enjoy a relaxed live acoustic music set from a talented local performer.
NERF BATTLES
Unleash your inner warrior by taking part in a Nerf Battle and blast your way to victory!
FARM CAMPING
Pitch your tent in a tranquil setting on our farm, surrounded by the beauty of nature and stay for 3 nights. This is your chance to experience the joy of camping together as a family.
BACK TO NATURE
Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most. Experience 3 days among our long grasses and wild flowers whilst you relax, explore and enjoy time together.
FEED THE CHICKENS & PICK YOUR OWN EGGS
Head to our chicken field to meet & feed 6,000 of our beautiful girls. You'll also be able to visit our working chicken shed and collect your own organic free range eggs - perfect to cook over your campfire for breakfast!

You must access the farm via our Event, Camping & Visitor entrance only.
The Macs Farm Summer Campsite & Days Out, Common Lane (B2112), Ditchling, East Sussex, BN6 8TL, UK
NO ACCESS is permitted via our farm entrance on Dumbrells Court Road.
Pricing
Early Bird Pitch Price (until 11th Feb)
£180 per pitch (approx. £15 pp/pn)
One pitch is based on one tent for up to 4 people.
Regular Pitch Price (from 12th Feb)
£190 per pitch (approx. £15.83 pp/pn)
One pitch is based on one tent for up to 4 people.
All tickets are subject to booking fees.
What's Included
1 x camping pitch includes:
- 3 night camping stay from Monday 3rd – Thursday 6th August.
- 2 hours children’s forest school (6-12 years)
- Children’s nerf battle session
- Campfire live music session
- 1 x bag of organic chicken feed
- 1/2 dozen organic free range eggs
- Space for 1 x tent in one of our beautiful fields.
- Up to 4 people staying in that tent (up to 2 extra people can be added to your pitch/tent at the time of booking for an additional cost)
- Toilet & shower facilities
- Fire pit & wood box
- 1 x car parking space
- Our usual camping fun applies including The Nest Box, The Mac Shack and bookable activities.
Please note that our campsite and events are completely family friendly. No music of any kind is permitted in any of our camping fields at any time. A site wide quiet time will be in place from 11pm to 7am and we kindly ask that everyone respects other guests and keep noise to a minimum during these hours.
Important T&C's
The Forest School session is recommended for children ages 6-12 years. Younger children can participate as long as a parent/guardian is in attendance for the duration of the session.
The Nerf Session is for children aged 6+. years.
Closer to the date of your camp, you will receive a link to choose a time for your children’s activity sessions. You may only book your child/children on to each activity once, as we need to make sure that everyone is able to take part.
For safety reasons, sessions can only accommodate a certain number of children, but we have put on enough sessions so that each child can do every activity once. Bookings for sessions are done on a first come first served basis.
Please note that our campsite and Wilderness Warrior Camp is completely family friendly.
