A Hands On Adventure

Farmer for a Day Sessions

Our Farmer for a Day sessions are a fun filled, hands-on activity designed for children aged 6–12 years. During this unique session, young farmers will get stuck into a range of seasonal farmyard tasks, such as:

  • Making a ‘pignic’ for our friendly Kune Kune pigs
  • Feeding, watering & grooming the pigs
  • Collecting fresh organic eggs directly from the chicken shed
  • Meeting & feeding the chickens
  • Potting their own pea plant in our community garden
  • Helping out with real gardening jobs
  • Feeding our tortoises using produce picked straight from the garden

Activities may vary slightly depending on the day, but each session promises a fun, safe, and engaging farm experience. While the kids are busy enjoying the great outdoors, parents can unwind and explore the farm – but must remain on-site throughout the session.

Perfect for curious minds, animal lovers, and budding gardeners!
